A SHAPE OF TIME - the composer Jo Kondo

A SHAPE OF TIME won the first prize at Filmfest Schleswig-Holstein 2016. The jury pointed out:
”Der mit vorsichtigen und sehr klaren Bildern erzählende Film bringt uns den japanischen Komponisten Jo Kondo und seine Musik nahe. In den sorgfältig kadrierten Einstellungen lässt A Shape of Time uns die Zeit, die Musik zu entdecken und zu erleben und währenddessen über Ansätze in zeitgenössischer Komposition und künstlerischer Arbeit nachzudenken“.
”In carefully framed shots A Shape of Time brings us closer to the Japanese composer Jo Kondo and his music. It allows us to take time to discover and experience the music and to reflect upon approaches in contemporary composing and artistic work.“
